It's a typical hole in the wall kind of place with minimal parking in the back, but that's how you know the food is going to be amazing!! You get a free tray of chips and three kinds of salsa and the chips were delicious! They feel homemade since I've never had chips like that. Refills cost money. There was a variety of different options, and I decided to go with the Super Tacos. They were huge I barely finished two. They were so flavorful and a tip is using the salsa they gave for the chips on the tacos! I would definitely go again! We were around dinner time and there was a line forming so it's best to go earlier.

We were in town visiting family and tried this place for the first time and it completely blew our mind! We almost missed it when driving it's a very small tucked in an industrial area. When we got there it was not that full but it was a Sunday so people started rolling in around 12. The bar area was very busy but we got seating after like 5 minutes because there was only one server and she was taking an order for a table of about 10-12 people. The 3 salsas they brought out with the chips were outstanding. The green creamy salsa was my favorite but they were all really good! The coffee was also very delicious, I ordered the chorizo con papas burrito which had beans, potatoes and chorizo. My dad ordered a mulita and my mom also ordered the chorizo con papas but the plate version and boy the tortillas really just kicked it up a notch! Something about homemade corn tortillas will elevate any dish regardless of how delicious it already is! I will definitely be going back whenever I'm in town. The parking is set in the back of the restaurant next to a motel and they are all pretty compact but other than that we will be back! I was so excited for the food I didn't take a picture!

This place was great. Food was super fresh and tasty. They also had a good size bar. Yelp needs to have my review 85 chapters long.

IMHO I love Mexican food! Our friends suggested going to Los Garcias for dinner! This was my first visit here and it won't be my last! We could tell this is a popular place to eat since it was packed, but thankfully there were still a few open tables to choose from. The guys ordered Cadillac Margaritas. "Of course!" said our friendly waitress! We ordered combo platters and a lengua platter, guacamole & chips, along with the free chips they give you. Our food came out piping hot and delicious! The beans were nice and creamy. Nothing to complain about! Can't wait to come back! Service was genuinely friendly and courteous! You can tell this is a family-run establishment. Get thee to Los Garcias!

I've visited Los Garcias a few times and felt it was time to share my experience. It has been around for decades, and it never disappoints! I love supporting these mom-and-pop shops, and on every visit, I get to experience how much love this family puts into this restaurant. I usually order my norm, which is a carne asada plate with rice and beans. The cut of meat they use is top-notch and cooked to perfection. As many of you know, carne asada can easily be the best or the worst protein on your plate. For the record, LGR's carne asada has hit hard on every visit! It is tasty, tender, juicy, and just downright good! Their rice and beans here are always on point and pair excellently. Service is always friendly, and everything is priced just right. It can get a little busy during the lunch rush, but it comes with the territory when you serve great food. LGR will continue to be my carne asada spot of choice in the bay!

Love this place, it was my first time being here and the Carnitas were well-made, but the lingua is so, so good!! I really like tortillas they hand make their. To be frank, next time I intend on getting just two regular tacos instead of super since I don't like beans with my tacos.

A nice little place with a bat. Went at linch and had a good amount of people inside. First thing I noticed was a lot of margaritas on tables and bar. I would have got one but that whole work day thing. Again I ordered a carnitas burrito, they do not have a super so just a regular today. The flavor was good, very authentic traditional flavor. The burrito could have been bigger. I did say avocado, and got one slice. The food that was coming out to tables while I waited for my pick up all looked great, I will return and try another option. You can call ahead for pick up. Parking was tight. Staff VERY nice.

We came here for Saturday lunch at 12ish. Los Garcias was surprisingly not busy. We got our order placed almost instantly and the food shows up in less than 10 minutes. Everything seemed to move much faster this time haha. As usual I got tostaditas with lengua (beef tongue), carne asadas, and carnitas (fried pork). OMG the meat was so good! I haven't been here for so long that the deliciousness of the meat blew my mind for a bit. Lengua was as amazing as usual, never tried their carnitas before and it was fried to perfection, carne asadas was delicious as well! Unfortunately, my vegetarian friends didn't enjoy their veggie burritos as much as I enjoyed my meat. Their veggie burritos were described as not very flavorful. So if you are a vegetarian, think twice.

Los Garcias is a family-owned business that has been serving great food for years. It's a local favorite. The restaurant faces Old Oakland Road. Though, the place is sorta hard to find, as it shares the same driveway/Parking lot with Alura Hotel. The inside has a bar with bar seating, in addition to inside dining. The place is small, and can accommodate groups of 6. I enjoyed my Burrito with Al Pastor. The meat was marinated well and cooked with bell peppers. They also include avocado and red and green chili sauces. Also, I had a taco with Carnitas. This was basic. I'll try another meat next time. Service was good. The cashier was sweet and friendly.
